tarts in heels

So after another wasted journey to work today i have decided to sack it off for the rest of the week, i feel its not worth the journey, effort or money for the incompetence that is our management team to tell me to go home again. Personally i like driving in these conditions; you just have to be sensible and take your time and not get distracted by the utter idiots that occupy the rest of the road. Living in Liverpool there are a few of these but nothing quite matched the three tarts i nearly ran over this evening as the walked up the middle of an icy road wearing huge heels, oh i wanted them to fall... i suppose what they lack in brains they make up in style i guess...

blown away

It been a seriously busy week for monkey, after being off for a couple of weeks and then to deal with a mountain of paper work and two very late nights of open evenings i have had little time for a note or two. But like the calm after the storm i reflect on a week and for the first time its blue skies and dry. British winters seem to get less like winter and more like an apocalyptic scene from a movie not so much cold but very dark and very wet, Christmas is fast upon us and i hope that maybe we get to see some of the white stuff.

Jack Frost

We really haven't had much winter weather so far and coming from the sticks and living in the city, you kind of miss that fresh cold crisp weather. While growing up we almost certainly had snow at this time of year and many of my Friends would often had to leave school early because of being snowed in. But snow is a rarity in the city and the weather has been rather warm and disappointing. However I'm lucky that tenbellies and i live very close to the park and on passing it yesterday morning i stopped to take in the awesome frost that had covered everything in sight. I do miss the country and thought of really cold weather in winter but i suppose Sefton Park will have to do for now.
