Kneel Infidel

I wonder why teachers and schools get bad press and then i read this. I find it so hard to believe in the education system when there are such idiots in the field and although i have just started out i have met a few already.
It is importnat to teach children about the different religions out there and how these work and fit into our society, god knows there are enough of them and some are getting bigger. But i found this really disturbing, and it seriously disregards the human rights of these children. How are the parents going to trust schools when they punish them for not praying to Mo.

Alsager High seems to have the worst deputy head teacher who responded with,

"It's difficult to know at the moment whether this was part of the curriculum or
not. I am not an RE teacher, I am an English teacher."
Try opening the National curriculum and finding out, i guarantee it says nothing about forcing pupils to prey.

I am appalled. I went to Catholic school until I was 18. I had RE lessons until the day I took my A'Levels. They taught us about other religions, tolerance and respect...things muslims know nothing about. We were taught about Judaism, but funny, none of the boys were expected to be circumcised. DO NOT KNEEL for ANYTHING you don't believe in!

That's DISGUSTING! Even more so that those in charge seem so blase' about this.

I used to completely identify with the British, being a native son, twice removed, you might say. Not anymore. The mindset of so many there is literally alien to me. We might as well be from different planets.

When it's so plainly obvious and so loudly declared by those who wish to dominate you that they do in fact intend to do so, and so many of you ACTUALLY GO ALONG WITH THIS, that I'm lost for an explanation.

Not quite lost, actually. My honest opinion is that the British have lost their strength of will. The same people who once built a huge empire have lost it all and subsided to a whisper of their once mighty roar, and I think this took the heart out of them.

It was arrogance that brought down the house. The governance of England was anything but benign, which is why their foreign subjects rebelled. No one will put up with being a second class citizen in their own country forever.

Now England is again being conquered in its turn, as it was many centuries ago, only this time the invading force isn't vital and renewing, but evil and degrading, a cancer that's spreading and eating away at not just England but the world.

What worries me is that curing the disease may kill the patient.

Sod 'em. When will some learn that there is vast difference between the reasonable viewpoint of requiring acceptance of those who want to follow their own ways of life, whether gays, Muslims or whatever and DEMANDING support or respect which is not felt?

If moderate Muslims want to follow their own beliefs I have no problem with it. If my sons had been asked to simply learn about Islam and tolerate the private beliefs of moderate Muslims I would have had no problem with it. If my sons had been asked to cowtow to this blithering nonsense I would have hit the f* roof! It is IMBECILIC BACKWARD SHITE!

The resentment following the crash of the 1930s and subsequent unemployment produced a number of political effects. It is blamed for the rise of Nazism and the subsequent events. Predudice against Jews makes no sense as there is no rational reason for it but maybe if this recession causes citizens of the US and Europe to throw off their political correctness and direct their resentment against this obscene creed in our midst it may be no bad thing.

I suppose I should add that there are plenty of very decent moderate Muslims in the UK, like those I have worked with, that I would hate to see targetted by extremism but the assault on our own culture and beliefs in our own country has reached such utter extremes that TBH if the BNP blew up every mosque in the UK tomorrow I would cry "Yeeeh! right on!"

About 6 years ago I used to be pretty tolerant and liberal but the changes in our society over the last ten years have made me say enough! and I am far from alone in this. Like everyone else, the white British would like a culture to call their own and a nation to identify with. The powers that be should take note.

Their policies make no sense and many of their supporters are racist in the true sense but nevertheless, anyone who has the chance to do so and does not support the BNP in the next election must have a death wish.

some great comments guys, what gets me aswell about this is that it happened back in June and I heard nothing about this untill the other day through conversation. if it had been the other way round it would have been in the media for weeks with some people losing their jobs and court cases maybe even a fatwa, but because we are so scare of the elephant sitting in the corner we say nothing and it gets brushed under the prayer mat.
England has lost it identity and its culture is becoming lost along with it, its like we are ashamed of it. this is a Christian country you can't hide that it written into our history its shaped our country but the past governments have lost sight and lost grip. the BNP are extreme without doubt but I'm pretty sure that sooner or later their popularity will grow and war will break out, we have been to interested in looking after every other fucked up country that ours has become FUBAR.

Good morning. OT, just doing an update on Steve and Pub Philosopher. After you left your comments he unblocked me. I was able to leave 2 comments in a row, the first one mentioning that I'd been censored. He posted a comment that No, he never did that, and then blocked me again.

I got a typepad account so I could investigate their spam blocking process. You have to either put all comments into moderation, or actually block specific IP addresses, one of the two, for the message to come up "We're sorry, your comment has not been published because TypePad's antispam filter has flagged it as potential comment spam. It has been held for review by the blog's author."

All comment blocking is controlled by the blog owner. This is Rastaman/Black Sheep. I'd appreciate it if you would take a moment and post this verbatim on Pub Philosopher.
