Police
I posted yesterday about a 15 year old girl that was murdered in her apartment block, today its come to light that the police had been notified by her parents that the man in custody and the possible killer had been harassing her.
The family had made complaints and yet the police could do nothing, well until now that is. Now that the man has committed a crime they can do something.
I was under the impression that any man over the age of 18 and in his case 30 who harasses and minor would be classed as a considerable risk.
Every Child Matter ......... Does it fuck!!!!!
The blood is on the police hands.

monkey... I teach law and political science classes and some criminology courses here in the U.S. I'm leery of media reports of police activities in the U.S. because our media is usually anti-police, but every story I read about police in the UK makes them seem like ghastly PC-tripe. Our cops are portrayed as racist cowboys. Your cops seem to be portrayed as the opposite extreme.
Are the cops there so bureaucratic that they no longer take on bad guys or is it a typical media snow job? I know crime rates are up in the cities, but besides Hot Fuzz -- my knowledge of current UK police is dim (I've done more study of Peel and the Bobbies).
They are tough on speeding motorists and football Fans.
Its like this, yeaterday a tree in my front garden got torn down by a bunch of kids and what could be an illegal dog, now the kids had been running up and down the street all day on a off road motorbike, this is also illegal.
Now although i knew they did it and everyone in the street knows they did it, i cant prove it and therefore nothing would be done by the police.
This seems like a really crap example but when you look at something like the young girl stabbed, the police knew about this but didnt do anything as they were scared to make false arrests.
Our police seem to work on certainty, and you can only arrest someone after they have done something. they knew this guy was a threat to the child but couldn't do anything until she was dead.
My faith in the police force is almost no existent, they are living in the past running round with their sticks when all the criminals are carrying knives and guns.
Too many excuses not to act. In cases of your garden they would tend to say it's a civil matter. Another one I have personally encountered in case of criminal damage is having squatters in a house, even if you can assure them it wasn't the squatters that did it.
There appears to have been a general downgrading of action. Those caught in the act of shoplifting or carrying drugs now just get warned, those like that stalker who should have been at least warned get ignored.
i read yesterday about some guys who got caught robing the lead of a village church, about 100,000 worth and when th police showed up and caught them in the act they still said they had not got enough evidence. how shocking is that.
you get done if you mix your rubbish and yet try and get the police to sort some kids out and you got bob hope.
Good grief, they really have let things slide past the edge of the slippery-slope when deplorable actions have zero consequences.
